AI Powered Website Navigation Prototype

A design site with several hundred pages does not get searched. It gets given up on.

design.samsung.com held more than anyone could find in it. The question was not how to index it better but whether a person could simply ask.

Three decisions carried the prototype. Whether answers may come only from the site's own content or from anywhere. How a source is shown, so that an answer can be checked rather than believed. And how little screen a conversation actually needs.

We copied the whole site, connected it through retrieval, and built a plain conversational surface. Most of the effort went into whether the answers were right rather than into how the screen looked — a prototype that demonstrates well and answers badly teaches the wrong lesson.
