Continence Care Informatisation Service UI/UX and Development

A care device worn on the body, and a record of it read by a doctor, a care worker and a family member. It cannot mean the same thing to all three.
The robot has its own controls on the patient's side; everything else happens on a tablet or a desktop, at the bedside, at the station and at home — and a good deal of it in the middle of the night. The patient's condition and their rhythm have to be watched continuously, which is a great deal of data arriving from a private place.
So the first structure to settle was not the screen but who is allowed to see what. Where the clinical view divides from the lay view, and whether the care log belongs in the same flow as the alerts and the statistics.
We separated the information by stakeholder before designing, then built the permissions from that. One adaptive layout covers desktop, tablet and phone, and a dark mode was designed alongside it because so much of this happens at night.
