M-SAM Block-II — Control Centre UI Localisation (UAE)
The same control centre, operated by a different army.
Cheongung-II was exported to the United Arab Emirates, and the control centre interface went with it — localised rather than rebuilt.
Localising a control centre is not translation. Part of what is on the screen belongs to the weapon system and must not move. The rest belongs to the army operating it, and that part has to be identified before any of it can be changed.
The domestic design was the base. What the work decided was what the export version could not simply inherit.
