New Foldable Device UX Prototype Development
The first foldables were shipping, and every assumption an interface makes about its screen was suddenly negotiable.
A screen that changes size in the hand changes what was safe to assume — where things sit, what survives the fold, what should happen at the moment it opens.
Much of that can only be judged with the thing in your hand, so the decision was which scenarios were worth building rather than describing. Interface, graphics and visual identity were resolved together into a prototype that actually ran.
