Samsung -ONE UI Company-wide Rollout for Reference Design

One UI was drawn for a phone. It had to reach a watch, a television and a refrigerator.

The same design language on screens of very different sizes, looked at from very different distances.

What travels unchanged is what makes it one language; what has to change is what keeps it usable. Separating those two is the whole of the rollout.

We analysed how each device is actually used, built reference designs from that, and folded in what came back from an online survey.
