04 WHAT AEON WORKED THROUGH HERE
The field would take anything, which turned out to be why people typed nothing. Whatever was offered as a starting point was read as the boundary of what could be asked. The work went into what a first suggestion says about everything it is not, rather than into how many suggestions to show.
The question it keeps returning to is what a blank field can offer without narrowing itself — every example shown becomes the shape people take it to have, and those who would have asked something else stop considering it.
