HELP SHOWN AS NEED
To show that it helps you have to show the difficulty it helps with.
01 DEFINITION
Condition in which the worth of something can be shown only by showing the difficulty it addresses, so the same account that demonstrates the help casts the person receiving it as the case that needed it.

Showing what it did meant showing what it was for, and what it was for was a difficulty somebody lives with. Every version that made the difficulty legible made the person into an example of it; every version that spared them left the work looking like something nobody needed. The work went into whose account it was — what the person was doing before the difficulty came up and after it was handled — so that the difficulty sat inside a life rather than standing as the reason for one.
The question it keeps returning to is whether the difficulty can be present without being the subject — leaving it out leaves nothing for the help to be help with, and putting it in makes the person an illustration of it.
