04 WHAT AEON WORKED THROUGH HERE
Rain, sweat and a covered hand all produce the same thing: a surface reporting something nobody did. Raising what it takes to register an action removed most of those and removed real ones with them. The work went into what the surface does while it is undecided, rather than into where the threshold sits.
The question it keeps returning to is what a surface should do with an action it is unsure of — holding it until it is confirmed spends the moment that made it urgent, and acting on it spends the confidence that made the surface usable.
